Skincare That Doesn't Beat Us Up
Remember the days of blasting our skin with Sea Breeze and scrubbing away with Buf Puffs? Those days are thankfully behind us. I’ve since learned that treating my skin with a little more kindness goes a long way.
What I’ve found is that sometimes less really is enough — and expensive doesn’t always mean better. This little corner is where I’ll share the products and simple tricks that have actually worked for me (because I’ve tried plenty that didn’t!).
For reference, my skin is on the oily side, with larger pores, and I’ve tested more skincare brands than I can count. But one thing I always go back to? Argan oil. It’s my all-in-one hero — I use it for hydration, makeup removal, and even mix it with glycolic or salicylic acid for a DIY body blend.

Dermaclara Face Patches
I have to share my thoughts on these silicone patches!
If you’re not familiar, they’re flexible, slightly sticky strips that you apply to different areas of your face.
For those who are hesitant about Botox, these offer a gentler alternative for temporary smoothing. You simply place them where you want a little extra help—whether that’s for a few hours during the day or overnight while you sleep.
The key is to apply them to clean skin (no heavy skincare underneath unless it's fully absorbed). Once in place, the patches create an occlusive environment that helps your skin rest, lock in hydration, and repair itself.
My experience is although a little pricey I love them!
Different packages are offered so you can try one of the smaller ones to see how they work for you-my link below takes you to shop directly at Amazon.
Full disclosure: this is an affiliate link, which means I may earn a small commission if you decide to purchase through them—at no extra cost to you. Thanks for supporting my little corner of the internet!
